On location, shooting in Lake Tahoe,California.  We had to use snowshoes to get to this spot. Severe winter storms dumped record amounts of snow this month in the Tahoe area.

My beautiful wife and son at the ribbon cutting for the new Kaiser Permanente office building in Watsonville.  Kaiser selected two of my images to grace the entryway. The big one  is an 8′ x 22′ mural.

In October I participated in the Santa Cruz County Open Studios Art Tour.  It was my first time and I was pleasantly surprised at how many people showed up and supported.  I met a lot of nice folks, saw some old friends, and a lot of pieces went out the door to their new homes. 🙂  This is a time lapse from one of the afternoons.

On location at the Marin Headlands New Year’s Eve.  I hauled my camera bag and two tripods and a folding chair up the hill through tick filled bushes to my spot to get the alignment I wanted.  At the end of the night the temperature was 35 degrees, I had five ticks embedded in my skin, and I got the shot I came for.
